Bp. Stewart’s Letter on Devastating Situation in Diocese

Dear Light of Christ Family,  

Please read this important letter from our Bishop, provided in the link below.   

As our Bishop indicates, this is a tragic situation that emerged in one of our Chicago far west suburban Greenhouse congregations in 2019. Please pray for all of those victimized or hurt, our Bishop and other pastors involved, and for the diocesan process and response now underway.  

As a member of the diocesan Bishop’s Council and Greenhouse, I am invested in this diocesan process, and we are committed to instituting whatever new policies, pastoral approaches, accountabilities and best practices are recommended.
