Lenten Resources

Each year Light of Christ publishes a list of Lenten resources for deepening our engagement with God in this season. This year, we encourage you to participate in the “Growing Gratitude” exercise, but we’ve pulled in other resources as well. Choose a practice you can do throughout the season.

Growing Gratitude

As suggested by The Other Half of Church, our Lenten book study.

Gratitude is a discipline that builds joy, improves relationships and requires both sides of your brain. This handout outlines 3 steps for growing gratitude. Start with the step that best fits you as we practice together. Hard copies available on the Information Table.

40 Days of Lent Reflections

The Matthew 25 Initiative will be telling the stories of the least of these through 40 days of Anglican-informed, inspiring, beautiful, and theologically-robust engagement pieces — in the vein of the church’s traditional disciplines of lent:  prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.
